Catherine "Kaye" Jahn

Jahn, Catherine "Kaye" (Nee Hirsch) was reunited on September 1, 2012 with her beloved husband of 50 years, Russell, at the age of 90. Dear mother of Russell (the late Kim) Jahn, Daniel (Nancy) Jahn, Peggy (Mark) Dore, Timothy (Cindy) Jahn, Bruce (Sylvia) Jahn and Beth (James) Peters. Loving grandmother to 10 grandsons, 5 granddaughters and 16 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her sisters "the Hirsch girls"; Bernadine, Sylvia, Eileen, Delores and Germaine, and her brother-in-law Richard Jahn. Further survived by brother-in-law Phil Ciano, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Kaye graduated from St. Mary's Academy and worked as a secretary for many years, retiring from the Greenfield School District. Recognized as one of the oldest living residents of the City of Greenfield, as Kaye lived her entire life in Greenfield. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Clement Manor for their compassionate care of Kaye. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association appreciated. Visitation on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at the MAX A. SASS & SONS GREENRIDGE CHAPEL from 4 to 8pm and again on Thursday, September 6, 2012 from 9 to 10am. Funeral Services on Thursday, September 6, 2012 from the funeral home at 10am to OUR LADY OF LOURDES CATHOLIC CHURCH, 3722 S. 58th St. for the Funeral Mass at 10:30am. Entombment Mount Olivet Cemetery to follow.
