Cassondra Rafaela Gresl

Cassondra R. Gresl passed away July 7, 2018 at the age of 29 years young. Devoted and loving mother of Josalyn R. Hallman. Longtime girlfriend of Ryan Burbey. Oldest daughter of Barbara Sorensen and Jan (Johanna) Gresl. Sister of Daniel Rodriguez, Frank Gresl, Bianca Gresl, and Samuel Sorensen. Granddaughter of Frank and Rafaela Rodriguez and Louis and Carol Gresl. Special Aunt of Ava, Bella, and Mia. Furmom to Spot, Moana, and Aurora. Cassondra was a proud Alverno Alumna with a BA in Psychology. Her passions included: spending time with family and friends, traveling, advocating for mental health awareness through her acting career, volunteering, singing, playing the piano and guitar, learning, reading, and being the good she wanted to see in the world. Her hobbies and interests included: eating sushi, playing Sims, Harry Potter, Batman, classic films, and trying new things. She had a great relationship with God and always appreciated the little things. Cassondra touched the lives of everyone she met with her genuine spirit, amazing listening skills, sound advice, kind understanding, and ability to make anyone laugh. She will truly be missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her. Visitation will be held at Max A. Sass & Sons-Mission Hills Chapel on Friday, July 20 from 4-8PM with a Service at 7PM. Additional visitation will be held at ST. MARTIN OF TOURS CATHOLIC CHURCH (7963 S. 116 St., Franklin) on Saturday, July 21 from 10-10:45AM. Funeral Mass at 11AM. Burial at St. Martin of Tours Cemetery to follow.
