Janiszewski, Casimir H. "Casey" Casey died at home, in hospice, under the tender and persevering care of his beloved wife of 70 years, Rita (nee Idzikowski) on Monday morning, May 8, 2017 in Fort Mill, South Carolina. Dear father of Cindy (Joe) Rewolinski, Carol Barlabas, Casey (Diane), Connie(Mike) Florio, Frank (Pamela), Nancy (Fred) Raml and David (Janet). Brother of the late Alphonse (the late Shirley), the late Irene( the late Teddy) Lowinski and Edward (Phylis). Also loved by 18 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren other family and friends. Casimir H. was born in Milwaukee, WI, on September 12, 1923. Graduated from South Division High School and attended Marquette Universitys College of Engineering. He was very interested in the Performing Arts particularly music, serving on many boards including the Distinguished Concerts Guild, Center for the Performing Arts, Florentine Opera and the Skylight Theatre to name a few. In addition, he was a consistent donor to all of the arts, Marquette University High School, Polish Center of Wisconsin and Polonia Soccer Club. His love of music and charitable giving led to being named Polish Man of the Year in 1977 by the Milwaukee Society of the Polish National Alliance and was appointed to the Governors conference on home and family. He was a founding member of the National Tool and Machine association (NTMA) as well as the Tool & Die Machine Association (TDMA). His entire career, starting in 1942, spanning 50 years, was in the family business, Superior Die Set Corporation, serving as President and Chairman. He retired in 1990 after a successful transition to the 3rd generation; then turning back to the arts where he took up painting. Casey was also a proud WWII veteran, serving in the US Navy Air Corps, Pacific Theater, Black Cat Squadron. He also served on multiple bank boards, starting with Lincoln State Bank. Memorial gathering at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 1121 S 116th St. West Allis, on Saturday, May 20, 9:30 - 10:45am. Mass Of Christian Burial at 11am. Private entombment at St. Adalbert Cemetery. In lieu of flowers Memorials appreciated to St. Josaphat Basilica and the Polish Center. Casey was a prolific painter, he loved music, played the violin, piano and had a beautiful voice. He also loved fishing, hunting and traveling.
