Ney, Carroll Albert To the honor and glory of God for 76 years of his life, Carroll Albert Ney entered into true life in glory on August 31, 2011. He was a Christian, patriotic, veteran, loving husband, father and grandfather. Carroll was born in Decatur, IL on April 14, 1935, the son of Carl Winter and Pearl Susan Ney. He was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters. Beloved husband of Fayrene (nee Jones) for 54 years. Loving father of Diane (Brian) Parys, Steve, Jon (Lois) and the late Paul. Dearest grandpa of Sherielyn and Robert. Also survived by his loving dog companion Bon-Bon. Memorial Gathering on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 from 5 pm to 6 pm at SUMMERFIELD UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 728 E. Juneau Ave. with the Memorial Service at 6 pm. Private interment Forest Home Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to his family, the American Heart Association or Summerfield UM Church. Carroll was passionate and knowledgeable about sports, which included managing and playing softball. He was a member of The Gideons International and Summerfield UM Church. Special thanks to Drs.
