Carole D. Leszczynski

Leszczynski, Carole D. (nee LaBelle). Auntie Mame and mother to all Ojibwe people, was called home on October 8, 2010 at the age of 79 years. Beloved wife of the late Arthur. Loving mom of Bruce, Dawn, Denise (Mike) Nuszbaum and Jon (Lynette Wielgosh). Proud grandma of Becky, Shannon, Bruce Jr., Anthony, Jacob and Bridgette. Great grandmother of Joseph. Dear sister of Pat Komblevicz, Paulene Phillips, Harvey LaBelle, Therese “Alice” LaBelle, Muriel Stark, Veronica Burrell, the late Mary Deal and the late Virginia Wadinski. Further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Carole filled our life with teasing and laughter, good visits and church events. She enjoyed being a nurse, volunteering and visiting her Montello home. She was selected for the “Tribute to Survival” at the Milwaukee Museum. She was our strength. Mass of Christian Burial Monday at 1 pm at the Congregation of the Great Spirit (1050 W. Lapham Ave.). Visitation Monday 10 am-1 pm at the church.
