Carol Louise Crawfis, a loving, selfless, and thoughtful woman, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2023, in New Berlin, Wisconsin. Born on May 28, 1935, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Carol was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend who touched the lives of many with her kindness and generosity.
Carol was a proud graduate of Mukwonago High School and went on to further her education to become a medical secretary. She dedicated her professional life to serving others, working as the office manager for Dr. Kumar and Dr. Matthai at Trinity Memorial Hospital in Cudahy, WI. Carol's hard work and dedication to her career were evident in the lasting relationships she built with her colleagues and patients.
Throughout her life, Carol was an avid world traveler, always eager to explore new destinations and experience different cultures. Her adventurous spirit and curiosity about the world around her, inspired family and friends to embrace their own sense of adventure.
Carol is survived by her loving children, Robert (June) of Muskego, WI, James of Alma, WI, Barbara (Damian) of New Berlin, WI, and John of Indianapolis, IN. She was a proud grandmother to six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, who will cherish their memories of her unwavering love and support. Carol is also survived by her dear sisters, brother, and numerous other relatives and friends who will miss her deeply.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Crawfis, husband, Bernard Bankenbusch, mother, Hazel Lippert, father Elroy Lippert, Sr., and brother Donald Lippert. Carol's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her, as they remember her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family.
A former resident of Ocala, FL, Woodruff, WI, and Cudahy, WI, Carol's life was marked by her ability to adapt and thrive in new environments. Her resilience and determination were a testament to her strong character and an inspiration to those who knew her.
Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Carol at the Max Sass Funeral Home on Friday, May 12, 2023, from 3:30 PM until the time of service at 5:30 PM. As we celebrate Carol's life, we will remember her as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend who brought joy and happiness to those around her.
