Buell Witt passed away peacefully on January 13th, 2022, in Milwaukee, WI. He now has joined his loving wife Shirley (Diel) Witt, in which he enjoyed 57 years of marriage. Buell was born June 21st, 1930, in Wild Rose, WI. He moved to Milwaukee, WI as a child. Graduated from North Division High School. Joined the Army National Guard, served 3 years active duty followed by years in the Reserves. Married his high school sweetheart and love of his life October 3rd, 1953. Went on to proudly earn partial college credits. Worked as a Welding Supervisor for his entire working career and retired from American Welding and Engineering after many years of employment with the same company. Following his retirement, he and his wife moved to Sun City, Arizona. He enjoyed golf, bowling, boar, deer, and pheasant hunting as well as fishing. His hobbies of building model airplanes and woodworking left many handmade treasures behind to be passed on for many generations to come. He enjoyed being in the kitchen and had a great talent for baking. He was an avid card and cribbage player and enjoyed many hands of blackjack over the years. He loved to travel and was in every state multiple times with a desire to go to Hawaii and Alaska. He was devoted father, grandfather, and great- grandfather. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Debbie (Witt) Lyman, Diane (Gary) Young. Grandchildren Dennis (Jessica) Lyman, Kristine Lyman, Katie (fiancé Will) Young and Jessica (fiancé Steven) Young. Great- grandchildren Mason, Mia Lyman, and Lily Lyman. His sister Wanda Lenz and brother Dale Witt, as well as other family and friends. He will be greatly missed. Celebration of life and interment to be determined at a later date and time.
