Bruce E. Stanton

Bruce E. Stanton, Joined his beloved wife Jane (nee Slusarz), of 38 years, in Eternal Life on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at the age of 71. Loving Dad of Chrissy (Matt) Bongel, Jamie Stanton (Jason Futo) and Joseph Stanton (Renee Harmeling). Proud grandpa of the late Kaylie and Eloise. Dear son of Josephine (nee Iverson) and the late Gene Stanton. Brother of Mike (Shelly) Stanton, the late Joanne (the late Larry) Schott, Barbara (Scott) Overby, Connie Stanton and Jackie (Peter) Ostrowski. Also loved by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Bruce served our country in the Army during Vietnam. Known as stoic in nature, he believed in a strong work ethic and lived it by working hard. Bruce worked on improving his home and helped others on their home improvements, he also took time to go hunting and do some fishing. Visitation at the Max A. Sass & Sons Mission Hills Chapel on Sunday, January 3, from 12 to 3 PM. Funeral Service at 3PM. Further visitation at the Funeral Home on Monday from 9:30 to 10 AM, as we prepare for our procession to Highland Memorial Park for burial and military honors. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Bruce's name to Breast Cancer Research Foundation or Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The service will be streamed live on the tribute wall of this page.
