Szymanski, Bronislaw "Bruno" Passed away peacefully on Monday, April 30, 2012 at the age of 89. Loving husband of Helen (nee Bernat) for 65 years. Dear father of Henry (Barbara) Szymanski and Irene (Eugene) Bembenek. Beloved grandfather of Hilary (David) Gazeley. Great-grandfather of Emmett. Bruno and Helen immigrated from Europe, arriving in 1950, becoming naturalized citizens in 1956. He was a life long South Side resident. He was also a 35 year employee of Patrick Cudahy, retiring in 1985. Visitation at Blessed John Paul II Parish, St. John Kanty Church, 966 W. Dakota Ave., on Wednesday, May 2 from 10-11am. Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Entombment at St. Adalbert Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lombardi Cancer Foundation is welcomed. Gone but not forgotten Max A.
