Brian M. Janowski, aged 57, passed away peacefully in his hometown of Milwaukee, WI, on December 14, 2023. Born on June 12, 1966, Brian was a beacon of intelligence, courage, and love throughout his life. From a young age, Brian's vivacious spirit and thirst for knowledge were evident. He pursued his academic interests with passion, culminating in a Master's degree that paved the way for his career. Brian dedicated many years as a substitute teacher within the Milwaukee Public School System.
Brian was the beloved son of the late Donald and Ellen Janowski, a lineage he honored through his actions and the love he shared. He was a loving brother to James Timm, Danny Janowski, and Edward (Valarie) Janowski. His role as a proud uncle to Jeremy and Crystal was one he cherished deeply. He is further survived by dear friend, Rosemary Shafer, alongside other relatives and friends.
Brian's love for his family was unmatched. He was the kind of man who would go to great lengths for his loved ones, offering support, wisdom, and laughter. His ability to bring comfort in times of need was a gift to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. An avid reader, Brian found solace and adventure within the pages of books. His love for literature was a testament to his intelligence and insatiable curiosity about the world and the human condition.
Brian’s legacy is one of courage, intelligence, and an unyielding love for those he held dear; his memory will continue to inspire and guide us. A visitation will be held at Max A. Sass & Sons-Oklahoma Chapel (1515 W. Oklahoma Ave., Milwaukee) on Wednesday December 27 starting at 11AM until time of eulogies at 12 noon. Burial at Arlington Memorial Park to follow at 1:15PM. Please meet at the main entrance of the cemetery.
