Brian James Freuck, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2025, at the age of 54 in his hometown of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Born on January 23, 1970, Brian was the cherished son of William and Barbara Freuck and a protective and loving brother to Brigit Wilson (Tavarius Brinson) and William (Jeri) Freuck. His life was further enriched by the love and laughter of his four children: Chelsea, Robyn (Xander Renish), Julia (Zachary Bertram), and Harrison, who will carry on his legacy of kindness and strength. He was the doting grandfather to Elliott and was excitedly expecting the arrival of his second grandson in February, Dexter. He was also a beloved uncle to Tyler Freuck and Quintin and Mariah Wilson.
Brian courageously served his country as a veteran of the United States Army and continued service through the National Guard. He worked at Miller Brewing for 12 years, where he was not only a valued employee but also a friend to many.
Brian's life was marked by his love for the simple pleasures. An avid animal lover, he could often be found walking his beloved dogs, Layla and Daisy. Friends of Brian will fondly recall his passion for sharing a cold beer and engaging in lively conversations about rock music and 80s movies. He was an active Boy Scout troop leader. His laughter was infectious and his enthusiasm for life was a joy to behold.
Brian’s life was dedicated to service, whether through his work, his care for family and friends, or his unwavering support that formed the foundation of his family's life. As we say goodbye, his legacy lives on in the memories, kindness, and strong bonds he left behind, continuing to inspire and guide those who were fortunate enough to know him.
Brian's life will be celebrated in a visitation on Monday, January 27th from 4 pm to 6:30 pm at Max A. Sass & Sons Greenridge Chapel at 4747 S 60th St, Greenfield, WI 53220, followed by a service taking place at 6:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Wisconsin Humane Society in his memory.
