Robert A. "Bob" Kowalski, aged 86, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2024, due to heart issues. Born on December 9, 1937, in Milwaukee, Bob was a lifelong resident of the city he loved and served.

Bob was the beloved husband of Johann (nee Drosen) for 63 remarkable years. His legacy continues through his children, Lori (Frank) Windt and Tom (Chris) Kowalski. Bob wore the title of "Super Best Grandpa" with pride to his grandchildren Carly (Mat) Otto, Eric (Kelsey) Windt, Leah (Nick) Windt-Rauenbuehler, Nicole (Jake Ruemmele) Kowalski, and Mike Kowalski. His joy was multiplied as he became an adoring Great Grandpa to Emilia and Graham Otto. In the family circle, he was a cherished brother-in-law to Dennis (Diane) Drosen and Diane (Tom) Buczwinski, and a fond uncle to Carey Rellis, Brian, Karen, and Sue Drosen. He was preceded in death by his parents, Casimir and Adeline Kowalski, his sister Carolyn Kowalski, and nephews Kevin Drosen and John Buczwinski.

Bob's professional life was deeply rooted in the Cudahy School System, where he was not only a former employee but also a proud coach at Cudahy High School. He was a mentor and a role model to many, instilling values of teamwork and perseverance in his athletes. His influence extended well beyond the field, as he was an active and cherished member of the Cudahy community.

He had a passion for the outdoors, often found golfing or participating in the activities of the South District Woodcutters. Bob's commitment to service was also evident through his long-standing involvement with the Boy Scouts of America, where he guided young scouts in developing leadership and survival skills. His dedication to nurturing the youth was unwavering and left a lasting impact on countless individuals.

Bob's interests were a reflection of his commitment to family and community. He took immense pleasure in watching his children and grandchildren participate in sports and various activities, always offering his support and encouragement from the sidelines. His presence at these events will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

The Kowalski family will remember Bob as a pillar of strength, love, and kindness. His warm smile and generous spirit were gifts to all who had the pleasure of crossing paths with him. Bob's life was a testament to the power of community, the importance of family, and the joy of living a life dedicated to the service of others.

We will miss his laughter, his unwavering support, and his ability to make each of us feel uniquely loved. Though he has left this world, his spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.
