Bansemar, Betty Jane (nee Leister) Joined her beloved husband Harvey in Heaven on February 23, 2010 after just 12 days apart. Loving mom of Barbara (the late Jim) Jackson, Patty (Joe) Andrzejewski, Michael (Mary) and the late Timothy. Proud Nana of Judy (Ed) Carreno, Tricia (Wayne) Jaworski, Shawn (Melissa) Bansemar and Eric Bansemar. Cherished great grandma of Amber and Leah Jaworski, Alejo Carreno and Alana Bansemar. Dear sister-in-law of Jean and the late Gerald Bansemar. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral Service and Post Ritual Monday 7 pm at the Max A. Sass & Sons Greenridge Chapel. Visitation Monday 4-7 pm. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Betty was a CCD teacher and member of the Christian Mothers at St. Matthias Parish. Betty was a past Unit President of the George Washington #2 Auxiliary. Betty formed a Glee Club at the George Washington #2 American Legion Auxiliary. She organized this group to sing at all of the rituals held at the legion doings. Betty loved music, she was an accomplished pianist. Whenever she was asked to play the piano for the Milwaukee County Conference of Units or the American Legion District #4 she was happy to do it. Betty belonged to the 3rd Last Womens Club for many years. She also loved dancing and she and Harvey followed the Concertina Jamboree Group. Betty was still a member of the George Washington-Bay View #180 American Legion Auxiliary.
