Benedict Joseph Scifo

Entered God's loving arms on May 4, 2017 at age 38. Lovingly survived by his mother Susan Scifo, his father,the late Salvatore "Ted" Scifo. Beloved brother of Susan (Ken) Lane, Kendra (Roberto) Matus and Nancy Scifo. Cherished dad of Samuel Scifo. Longtime significant other of Stacy Schmidt. Devoted uncle of Stevie, Kelsie, Devin, Autumn, Aaden, Mara and Caleb. Great uncle of Drake. He will be loved, remembered and missed by other family and many friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents and cousins. As a young boy Benny enjoyed fishing, playing hockey and soccer. He was a talented artist. Benny took great pride in his work as a carpet installer. He was skilled and certified in installing and creating high end carpets. In recent years he rekindled his passion for soccer, playing goalie for an adult team. He also enjoyed working out, weight lifting, and running. Ben had a big heart, he was funny and willing to lend a helping hand when needed. Ben was able to give the gift of life though the donation of his organs. His family will forever cherish the happy times and memories they created with him. Memorial visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 from 4 to 7 PM. A funeral service will be held at 7 PM. The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff at St. Francis ICU for the loving care they provided to Ben.
