Barbara J. Crnkovich

(Nee Kendl). Was Born to Eternal Life and reunited with John M. Crnkovich Sr., her beloved husband of 62 years, on June 3, 2024 at the age of 82. Cherished mother of Judy (Jeff) Wozniak, Janet (Brian) Braun, Jeff (Jen Redlon) Crnkovich, and the late John Crnkovich Jr. Loving grandma of Rob (Savannah), Zack, Mihayla, and Emily. Further survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, other loved relatives, and friends. Preceded in death by her siblings Charles, Diane, and Tony.

Her life blossomed into a life filled with love when she became the cherished wife of the late John M. Crnkovich Sr. Their union was a testament to enduring love, spanning more than six decades. Together, they built a family foundation that would support and uplift generations.

Barbara’s nurturing spirit shone brightly through her role as a loving mother. She instilled in her children the values of kindness, compassion and resilience. Her role as a loving grandma brought her immense joy, each of whom will always carry a piece of her heart.

Beyond her family, Barbara’s interests were a reflection of her generous and warm personality. Her world revolved around her family, and she found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved traveling with her late husband and vacations with family, caring for her pet turtles, and crocheting intricate doilies that became cherished keepsakes. Barbara was also an avid reader, often found with a book in hand, and her collection of beanie babies brought whimsy to her home.

Visitation will be held at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church (7963 S. 116th St., Franklin, WI 53132) on Wednesday June 19th from 10AM to 11:45AM. Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon. Burial to follow at St. Martin of Tours Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to either the Alzheimer’s Association or to the American Heart Association.
