Barbara A. Gieryn (nee Ridiger) of Oak Creek. Passed away peacefully into Eternal Life on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at the age of 86 in Appleton, WI. Beloved wife of the late David L. Gieryn. Mother of Daniel English, stepmother of Douglas (Jennifer) Gieryn and Sandra (David) Johnson. Grandmother of Shannon English, step grandmother of Reed and Kelly Gieryn, Kayla, Collin (Makynna) and Melanie Johnson and the late Ian Johnson. Great-grandmother to Sophia and Adelina. Dear sister of Lorraine Burke and the late Carol Dorton, Helen Wilder, Joan Lively and Pat Shust. Devoted companion to her beloved dog, Lacy. Born September 25, 1934 in Chicago to the late Albert and Besse Ridiger, in Hoffman Estates..Barbara was a longtime employee of Kmart in Cudahy and also of Klements Sausage Co. in Milwaukee. Barbara lived in Illinois, Virginia and Wisconsin. Visitation Friday January 7, 2022 from 4 until 530 PM with a service at 530 PM at the Max A. Sass & Sons South Shore Chapel.
