Barbara A. Rekowski

Barbara A. Rekowski (nee Dean) Born to eternal life surrounded by her loving family on January 29, 2022 at the age of 84 years. Beloved wife of Frank for 64 years. Mother of Deborah (William) Quandt, Jeffrey Caine and Diane (Frank) Wycklendt. Grandma of Eric (Kari) Quandt, Jason (Kimberly) Quandt, Sr. Marie Therese, Rebecca, and James Wycklendt, Karen (Mike) Klamecki, Michael, Joseph, Samuel, Terez and Jacob Wycklendt. Great grandmother of Hunter, Olivia, London, Eli, Henry, Hazel, Hudson, Harlow, Harlan, Howie and one baby on the way. Further survived by sister-in-law Sr. Therese Rekowski, brother-in-law Edward (Gloria) Rekowski, sister-in-law Agnes (Greg) Jackson, nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Visitation at St John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 8500 W. Cold Spring Rd. Greenfield, on Saturday, February 5th, 10:30 AM - 11:45 AM. Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon. Private interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations appreciated to the Milwaukee Rescue Mission. Barbara graduated from Messmer High school in 1955. She worked part-time at Marquette University for 14 years and went on to be an executive secretary at Allis Chalmers for 18 years, retiring in 1992. She was a member of the Allis Chalmers retirees-engineering luncheon group. Barbara loved traveling the United States and visiting new places with Frank. She also loved and enjoyed time spent with grandchildren.
