Arthur John Zinky

Age 93, born on October 31,1931 and received into grace on December 31, 2024. Arthur was the loving husband of 61 years to the late Alice Marie Zinky. Beloved father of five sons John, Jim, Joseph, David and Dan; fourteen grandchildren; and 7 great grandkids. Arthur was the son of Charles and Loretta who preceded him in death along with his siblings Gloria, Ed and Jeanette. 

Arthur went to Milwaukee Trade and Technical High School and in 1951 graduated as a Trade Patternmaker. He was drafted into the Army in 1952. He made it to Corporal and was discharged Classified 5-A in 1954. On May 16th, 1955 he joined the Milwaukee Fire Department. In 1956 he married the love of his life Alice Marie. He was not a sports fan but a fan of his sons in sports.  In 1993 he retired from the Fire Department and spent the next 31 years traveling and caring for his loved ones. Hunting, fishing and family filled his life with joy. 

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Our Lady of Lourdes from 10-10:45 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM. Burial with Military Honors will take place at Wisconsin Memorial Park Cemetery at 2:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to Our Lady of Lourdes Meal Program. The Zinky family thanks, everyone for their cards, donations, and love during this time.
