Arnold Rose

Arnold M. Rose, Muskego, passed away on January 30, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on August 18, 1944, Arnold's journey through life was marked by his spirited independence and the joy he brought to those around him. Arnold dedicated years of service to his country, first in the US Army and later in the National Guard and Coast Guard. He continued his career at Milwaukee Railroad then retiring with the United States Postal Service after 35 years. His military career was distinguished by a notable assignment that took him to Norway as a lone traveler for classified communications, a testament to his trustworthiness and capability. On April 4, 1964, he married his high school sweetheart, Sharon Rozman, and together they navigated the waters of life with unwavering love until her passing after 31 years of marriage. Arnold's sense of humor and toughness were a beacon of light for his family, guiding them through life's challenges with laughter and resilience.

Arnold continued to make his mark as a founding member of the Milwaukee Rugby Club, channeling his competitive spirit and toughness into the sport he loved. Beyond the rugby pitch, Arnold was an avid fisherman, finding peace and tranquility in the simple pleasure of casting a line. His daughter, affectionately nicknamed Dolly and Turtle, inherited this love, creating cherished memories that would last a lifetime.

His unique personality and independent spirit made Arnold a cherished member of the community. He was a dedicated member of the American Legion of Muskego Post 356, where his contributions and camaraderie were highly valued. Arnold's legacy is carried on by his loving family, his survivors include his daughter, Michelle (Mark) Lau, granddaughter, Katelyn Lau; his sister, Linda (Clifford) Scheffler; his niece, Andrea (Bill) Dickert; and his nephew, Kyle (Lacy Polnow) Scheffler, along with other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sharon Rose; his parents, Edward and Emily (Jozwiak) Rose; and his brother-in-law, Terrence Rozman.

Visitation at the MAX A. SASS & SONS WESTWOOD CHAPEL (W173 S7829 Westwood Dr., Muskego) on Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 10:30 AM until time of service at 12:30 PM. Burial will take place in St. Adalbert Catholic Cemetery, Milwaukee. In lieu of flowers please consider a dontation in Arnold’s name to the American Legion Post 356 of Muskego or the Milwaukee Rugby Club.
