Arlene M. Miller (nee Huck), a beacon of love and faith, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2024, at the age of 95, in her lifelong home city of Milwaukee, WI. Born on November 22, 1928, Arlene's life was one of devotion, joy, and an unwavering commitment to her family.
Graduating from South Division High School, Arlene carried with her the spirit of lifelong learning and a zest for life that was infectious to all who knew her. As a proud alumna, she often shared fond memories of her school days.
Arlene was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Sr., and together they built a legacy of love that continues to flourish. She was the loving mother of Anthony Jr. (Cheryl), the late Patrick, Timothy (Colleen), and Neal Sr. Her nurturing nature extended to her nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren, all of whom she cherished deeply. Arlene was a sister to Sharon and John, and her extended family of nieces, nephews, and other relatives felt her warmth and care in every hug and every word of encouragement.
Her faith-filled life was evident in her actions and the thoughtful ways she reached out to those around her. Arlene's loving presence will be missed by the many friends she made throughout her life.
Arlene's enthusiasm for dance was unmistakable as she was a member of the Dancing Grannies and Snappy Steppers.
As we say goodbye to Arlene M. Miller, we celebrate the life she lived so fully and the many lives she touched. Her spirit remains a guiding light to all who were blessed to know her, and her memory will be cherished in the stories that will continue to be told by those who loved her.
Arlene's journey on this earth has concluded, but the echoes of her laughter, the warmth of her embrace, and the wisdom of her words will resonate for generations. We take comfort in knowing that she has been reunited with her beloved Anthony and Patrick, and that her love will continue to envelop us all from above.
Farewell, Arlene, until we meet again. Your life was a beautiful reflection of everything that is good in this world, and we are all better for having shared it with you. May you dance joyously in the heavens as we hold you in our hearts forever.
