Trantow, Arlene Found peace in the arms of her Loving Savior on June 5, 2021. Arlene was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on February 15, 1962 to Charles Edward and Ruth Anna (nee Lederman) Trantow. She graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran High School in 1980. She is survived by her children Adam (Angela) and April Trantow and was a loving grandma to Riley and Caleb Trantow. Arlene was best friend and special sister to Linda Griffin for 40 years, and a special Aunt to Kristine (Jon) Zielinski and Jennifer Kohls. She was a beloved Aunt to Jennifer and David Borda and great Aunt to David Jr and Marshall Borda. Arlene was a lifelong friend to Christine (James) Wenzel. Arlene’s life was greatly enriched with all the special family she gained with her many friends on 8th Street and throughout the many years at her church. She is survived by many more loving and caring family and friends. Arlene was an employee of Potawatomi Bingo and Casino for 22 years and formed many wonderful and lasting friendships there and in previous occupations. One such friendship brought her the immense joy of becoming a godmother. She frequented restaurants and movies with her group of Tuesday night girls, and Wisconsin Dells with friends and family alike. She was a lifelong member of St. Peters Evangelical Lutheran Church where she assisted with the Food Pantry donations and joined ladies nights for dinner for many years. Arlene loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart and was a great friend to so many. Arlene was preceded in death by both of her parents and the father to her children Jesse Chavez. She was welcomed into heaven by her sister Nancy Sanchez (nee Trantow), her nephew Scott Sanchez, and her treasured friends Carole Ann Schmitt, Renee Eheler, Georgette Talavera, and many, many more. Visitation will be held from 9:00am on Friday, June 11, 2021, until the time of the service at 11:00am at Saint Peters Evangelical Lutheran Church at 1205 South 8th Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53204.
