Ciano, Antonio "Uncle Tony" Died peacefully in his sleep on March 30th, 2015 in Milwaukee, WI at the age of 79. Tony was a devoted son, loving brother, proud uncle and caring friend. He is preceded in death by his parents Francesco and Luisa (nee Bochicchio) Ciano, immigrants from Greci, Italy, and his sisters-in-law Germaine and Joyce Ciano. He is survived by his brothers, Philip and Ambrose Ciano; his nephews, Franklin (Shirley) Ciano, Michael (Susan) Ciano, Scott (Bobbie) Ciano, Philip (Laurie) Ciano, Edward Ciano, and Ambrose (Leanne) Ciano; his niece Susan Ciano; and his loving friend and companion Ingrid Sutton. Uncle Tony was loved and will be remembered by ten great nieces and nephews, a great-great niece, Hirsch Family members, other relatives and many special friends. Tony attended Milwaukee Boys Tech and Trade School where he learned the electrical trade. He operated his own paint and supply store for a time and later joined the sales staff of Wisconsin Liquor Company. Tony was a long-time member of Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Church and also enjoyed attending Mass at Holy Hill National Shrine of Mary. He was a past president of Roses for Our Lady, a former member of the Italian Community Center and an active member of the St. Rocco Association. Visitation at the Max A. Sass & Sons Greenridge Chapel on Thursday, April 9 from 4-7 pm followed by a rosary recitation at 7 pm. Funeral from the Funeral Home on Friday, April 10 at 9 am with procession to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 8500 W. Cold Spring Rd., Greenfield, for Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am. Entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery to follow. A special thank you to the staffs of St. Luke's Hospital and Clement Manor for their care and compassion.
