Ann M. Trummer, born Ann Fredericks on July 9th, 1937, in Milwaukee, passed away on December 26th, 2024. She was 87 years old.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin, after 57 years of marriage, and by her brother, Dick. She is survived by her children, Ed and Judy, and her much-loved sister and niece, Judy and Jacki Tolley. She will also be missed by her dear friends Mark and Jerry from the weekly Packing House gang, who offered much love and support in her later years, and her decades-long best friend Laurie.

Ann graduated from South Division High School. After leaving her early career at Harnischfeger when she had children, Ann was known around the neighborhood from her many years of working at Lee Wards and Sentry.

Ann was a loving and generous person who found joy in small things. She enjoyed animals and nature, the music of Johnny Mathis, her lilacs and perennial garden, and the birds that would visit her feeder, especially cardinals. Over the years, she loved and was loved by many cats, dogs, and assorted other pets. She enjoyed many trips to San Francisco and New Orleans, and seeing shows in New York. She and her family cherished memories of long walks in Madison, her favorite fall tree in Humboldt Park, swimming in the backyard pool on the hottest Fourth of July, visits to Wehr Nature Center, dandelion bouquets, and listening to Johnny Mathis at the beach.

Ann did not want services held. In lieu of flowers, donations to Friends of Wehr Nature Center would be appreciated.
