Andrew "Andy" Forrest

Died peacefully, surrounded by his family on May 12, 2016 at the age of 85. Beloved husband and best buddy of Penny (nee Illum). Loving dad of Linda (Jack) Downey, Andy (Diane), Kathy (Steve) Galewski, Ginny Hesselbach, Joey (Gary) Larson, Karen (Mike) Kendl, Dave (Debbie), Chris (Joanne) and Toni (Steve) Hawthorne. Proud grandpa of 22 stunningly brilliant and loving grandchildren and great-grandpa of 2.75. Preceded in death by his parents David and Helen Forrest, his sister Mary and his brother David. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Andy was a proud graduate of Purdue University and a Boilermaker, devoted to his family and very active in his community. Memorial Gathering on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at the MAX A SASS & SONS MISSION HILLS CHAPEL from 4pm until time of Memorial Service at 6:30pm In lieu of flowers, memorials to the MACC FUND or the Ronald McDonald House appreciated.
