Labinski, Alois Jr. Al came down from Heaven on March 13, 1928 and returned to Heaven on September 12, 2007 at the age of 79 years. Beloved husband of the late Mary Ann K. (nee Lackner) for 54 years. Loving father and friend of Dennis Labinski, Sharon Slattery, Susan Labinski and Donna Benton. Proud grandpa of Michael (Colleen), Erik, Jaime, Brenda (Jim) and Mark. Cherished great-grandpa of Jocelyn Rose and Anthony James. Dearest brother of Ruth (the late Florian) Kroll, Arthur (Helen), the late Richard (the late Diane), Gere (the late Ed) Tyszko, Mary Ann (the late James) Kemnitz, the late Donald, Ronald (Joan), Ralph (Joan), James (Shirley) and the late Georgiann (James) Ewart. Nephew of George (Gertrude) Stys. Brother-in-law of Patricia (the late Edward) Wrobel and Kathleen (Michael) Gunn. Best Buddy of Larry Zoller. Further survived by his pooches Stella, Moe and Missy, many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Al was the CEO of the Labinski Family. He was a very proud veteran, serving in the US Army during the Korean Conflict, becoming a Master Sergeant during the first two years and was the recipient of The Bronze Star. He retired from GE Medical Systems after 47 years and then worked for MATC for 10 years after retirement in Childcare/Foodservice delivery. Al was very well liked by everyone who met him. He will be missed by all. Funeral Service on Monday, September 17, 2007 at 1pm at the MAX A. SASS & SONS GREENRIDGE CHAPEL. Entombment St. Adalbert Cemetery. Visitation Monday, 10am to 1pm at the funeral home.
