Ruka, Alfred T. "Al" Went home to be with the Lord Saturday, October 17, 2009. Age 87. Beloved husband of Julia (nee Toth) for 60 years. Loving Father of Thomas M. "Tom" (Pamela) Ruka and Cynthia (Harry) Vlahos. Dear grandfather of Tom, Joe (Bethany), Jennifer, Angelo, Julia and Christina. Proud great grandfather of Daniel and Eva. Further survived by brothers, sisters, other relatives and friends. Visitation at the funeral home, Thursday October 22, 4-8pm. Funeral service from the funeral home Friday October 23, 9:30-10:30am to The Basilica of St. Josaphat, 2333 S. 6th St., for Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am. Entombment at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
