Katzer, Alfred L. Jr. Born to eternal life June 20, 2008 at the age of 80 years. Loving husband of Geraldine (Nee Buyarski) Katzer for 49 years. Loving father of Christine Tice and Michael J. (Mareen) Katzer. Proud grandfather of Nicole, Anthony, Julie, Lauren, Corbyn and Dawson. Great grandfather of Elijah, Hayden and Riley. Brother-in-law of Emil (Ann) Buyarski, Bernard Buyarski, Dorothy (Jack) Kaiser, Ruth Krajcir and Nancy (Thomas) Wielgos. Uncle of Joseph Woods and Lynne Trapp. Alfred was a member of St. Joseph's Benevolent Society. He also was an employee of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel for 47 years. Visitation at the Max A. Sass & Sons Greenridge Chapel on Wednesday June 25 from 4-7 PM with a prayer service at 6 PM. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday at 10 AM at OUR LADY QUEEN OF PEACE (3222 S. 29th St.) Family and friends please meet at the church on Thursday. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorials preferred.
