Placek, Alfred A. Age 85. Born to Eternal Life February 14, 2015. Loving husband of the late Theresa Placek (Nee Dix). Beloved father of Paul F. (Eileen), Alfred J. (Roxan), Anthony G., Joseph M. (Sandy Shaurette), David J., Andrew J. and the late Therese and Sarah Placek. Dear grandfather of Daniel (Aubrey), Sarah, Thomas, William, Mary Placek, the late Michael (Autumn), Heather (Daniel) Miller, Crystal (Jason) Pacheco, Kayanna (Joe) Spooner, Paul (Suzanne) Shaurette, Sue (Paul) Meinen, Kathryn (Ryan) Mizusaki, Jane (Jeff) Cooper and Sarah (Jeff) Rogers. Dear great grandfather of Analeigh, Ryan, Adelyn, Makenzie, David, Sam, Max, Isabelle, Lily, Terry, Mariah, Elizabeth (Morgan) Hertzfeld, Matthew, Zachary, Emily, Jackson, Madeline, Abigal, Gisele Bolton, Isaac Bolton, Francis, the late George Morgan, Hazel, Hattie and 1 great great grandchild Oliver, nieces, nephews other relatives and close neighbors and friends. Alfred served with honors in the U.S. Army from August of 1948 until May of 1952. Al was retiree of AC Delco Oak Creek and Vilter Mfg. Al met Theresa at a dance in October of 1954, fell in love and they were married a year later on Thanksgiving Day. They were devoted to each other and their family through 55 years of marriage A visitation will be held at ST. ALPHONSUS CATHOLIC CHURCH (6060 W. Loomis Rd. Greendale, WI) on Thursday February 19, 2015 from 10 - 11:45 AM with the Funeral Mass to begin at 12 Noon. Private Entombment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
