Helzer, Adam J. Born to Eternal Life October 1, 2007. Age 85 years. Beloved husband of Trudy (nee Sobczak). Dear brother of the late Charles Helzer. Loving brother-in-law of the late Joseph Sobczak, the late Frank and Laura Sobczak, the late Irene and Arthur Nisiewicz, the late Steve (Bernice) Sobczak and Dorothy Sobczak. Loving uncle of Michael (Marcia) Helzer, Phillip (Mary) Nisiewicz, Diane (David) Sherman, Robert (Nancy) Sobczak and Tom Sobczak. Loving great-uncle of Jennifer (Jason) Domagalski, Wendy Nisiewicz and Brooke Helzer. Further survived by other relatives and many friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Fri. Oct. 5, 10 AM at OUR LADY QUEEN OF PEACE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2733 W. EUCLID AVE. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery. Visitation AT THE CHURCH on Fri. from 9 AM until time of Mass. Adam served in WWII as an X-ray technician in the US Army and was a long-time member of Alonzo- Cudworth Post #23 for over 49 years. He was a loyal retiree of Sears. Adam served on the Board of Directors of Windermere Estates Condo Assoc. for many years. He was always available to lend a helping hand whenever needed and he will be deeply missed.
