Terry P. Eggers, a beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 4, 2023, in his hometown of Milwaukee, WI. Known for his friendly demeanor, handy skills, and courageous spirit, he will be deeply missed. He loved to cook, and everyone enjoyed his culinary skills. Terry was an avid motorcycle rider. His other passions were music, his pets, old cars, and enjoying a beer or a glass of Jim Beam with friends. He was a man of many stories, some factual and others not so factual, but they all kept us interested and laughing and always making friends.
Born on January 26, 1948, in Milwaukee to parents Marcella and William Eggers and the younger brother of Barbara Thirion and Charlene (Dave) Saari. He lived his entire life in the city he loved, building a family and a legacy that will continue to be remembered. Terry was a man of many talents, but it was his work as a tool and die maker at Ladish for 38 years that brought him immense satisfaction. His colleagues remember him fondly for his dedication and hard work.
Terry was also a proud US Army veteran. His service to his country was a testament to his courage and dedication, and his experiences shaped him into the resilient and strong man he was.
Terry was blessed with a happy and loving family. His wife, Donna, was his partner in all aspects of life for 30 years, and they were married for 18 beautiful years. Their love story was one of mutual respect, endless support, and deep affection. Terry was also a devoted father to his daughters, Aysha (David) and Tommy. He took immense pride in their achievements.
Terry P. Eggers will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he left behind, and his legacy will continue to inspire. As we mourn the loss of Terry, we also celebrate his life, remembering the man who touched so many lives with his kindness, courage, and love.
