Sandra "Sandy" K. Winkler

Sandra “Sandy” K. Winkler Peacefully reached eternal life on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at the age of 78. She was born on August 4, 1942 in Milwaukee to Clarence and Bernice Wacholz. She was the beloved wife of Joseph Winkler for 57 joyful years after their marriage on February 16, 1963 in West Allis, Wisconsin. She was a loving mother to her two daughters, Lisa (Bruce) Ouellette and Susan Winkler-Barnard. She was passionate and skilled at knitting and cooking. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and would regularly meet over coffee with friends and family. She is survived by her husband, her sister Cyndy (Bob) Moelter, and four grandchildren; Ryan Barnard, Eric Ouellette, Amanda Barnard and Alex Ouellette with their beloved dogs Bela, Patton, Lilah, and Ike. She will be remembered by relatives and friends. A memorial mass will be held on January 7th, 2020 at 11AM at St. Alphonsus Church (6060 West Loomis Road, Greendale, WI). If desired, memorial contributions may be sent to the St. Jude’s Hospital or St. Alphonsus Church in lieu of flowers.
