Wroblewski, Ronald T. “Ron” was born to eternal life on Monday, November 26, 2018. Throughout his 81 years, Ron lived fully, surrounded by many friends and family. Ron was preceded in death by his parents Bernard and Frances (Ryczek), his siblings and their spouses: Dorothy (Arthur) Mihm, Richard (Dolores Grzesiak), Daniel (Gloria Slosarski), and his niece Margaret Mihm. Although Ron is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends, he had a special bond with his nephew and godson, Robert Mihm. Of his friends, Ron wanted to thank Don Petersen for the shared daily exchanges; Rodney and Pat Boettcher, Will Waszak and the Rev. Melvin Macoskie for their frequent visits to the nursing facility. Thank you for holding Ron close. One of Ron’s great passions were model trains and over the years, he created lasting memories with his friends in the Milwaukee -N- Southeastern (MNSE) N scale train club. Together, Ron and train club members travelled cross country on Amtrak and sought out various trains to watch. Ron was also an enthusiastic sports fan who cheered for the Brewers and Packers; he enjoyed the outdoors through deer hunting, fishing, and quiet weekends up north. In 1955, Ron graduated from Don Bosco High School and then in 1959 from Marquette University with an accounting degree. After graduation, he served the U.S. military at Fort Lewis, Washington running payroll. After five years of service, he returned to Milwaukee and began his career at Ladish Co., Inc. At Ladish, Ron proudly dedicated his entire career until 1993, when he retired from his position as Controller for the forging division. Visitation will be Saturday December 1, 2018 from 10 AM until 11:45 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Parish (5571 S. Marilyn St., Milwaukee) followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 PM.
