Matthew Reed Ignatiev

Matthew Reed Ignatiev Passed away unexpectedly on August 4, 2022, at the age of 43. Beloved father of Ella Ignatiev. He was preceded in death by his father, Dimitry (Mitch) Ignatiev. Cherished son of Kristin Cmeyla and stepfather Andrew Cmeyla; dearest brother of Emily Ignatiev and Peter Ignatiev (Jessica), fond stepbrother of Zachary Cmeyla (Marissa); loving "Uncle Vito" of Cara and Henry Fuchs, Finley Ignatiev and Cooper Cmeyla; much loved nephew of Karol Cink (Jim) of Florida and Nina East (Bob) of Tennessee; special Godson of Lisa Pook (Dave) and George Ignatiev (Vera). He is further survived by many much-loved cousins who are the keepers of a host of wonderful memories, as well as other dear relatives and friends. Matthew was valued greatly by his friends and family for his wonderful goofy humor, fierce loyalty, and his genuine care and concern for all who needed his love and support. He was a passionate expert on all things Rock and Roll, the Packers, and the stars and the sky. A Memorial Gathering will be held at Max A. Sass & Sons-Greenridge Chapel (4747 S. 60th St., Greenfield) on Monday August 15 starting at 10AM until time of service at 11AM. Matt will be hugely missed by all who loved him.
