Mary Ann Zellmer

Zellmer, Mary Ann (Nee Burgermeister) Age 68, was welcomed into the arms of the Lord on Wednesday, July 10, 2013. She was surrounded by family. Beloved wife and best friend of over 44 years to Peter Zellmer. Devoted mother to Paula (Jeffrey) Schwamb, Amy (Martin) Devaney, Benjamin (Sarah) Zellmer, and Laura (Troy) Hummel. Loving grandmother to Molly, Abby, Kate, Patrick, Samuel, and William. Dear daughter-in-law to Sylvia Zellmer ("Nana"), stepdaughter to Donna Burgermeister, and sister to Thomas (Sandra), Richard (Mary), Joseph (Julie), and (the late Paul) (Dianne) Burgermeister as well as Barbara (Jay) Roske and Kathryn Mihelich. Further survived by many other relatives and friends. Mary Ann was a faithful and devoted member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church and was formerly an executive assistant for the School Sisters of St. Francis. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, cooking, and hosting people in her home. She will be fondly remembered for her hospitality. Her greatest love, however, was for her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed. Visitation will be at ST. ALPHONSUS CATHOLIC CHURCH (6060 W. Loomis Road, Greendale) on Saturday, July 20, 2013, from 9 to 10:45 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 AM. Private interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
