Van Tassel, Lynn R. "Old Fart" Of Wind Lake, Town of Norway. Entered God's loving arms on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at the age of 76. Loving husband of Ruth for 54 years. Respected dad of Rodney L. Van Tassel and Julia Ann (Donnie) Dodson. Godfather of Kelly (Tom) Trentacosti & family. Great brother of DeAnn (Tom) Davis. Further survived by his grand dog Mertle, grand cats Mossimo and Buddy, brothers and sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Sincerest thanks to the Wind Lake Fire and Rescue. Lynn was a proud veteran of the US Navy, serving on the USS Noxubee and the USS Watchman. He was a man who provided many laughs and a jovial spirit to all who met him. He will be missed by many.
