Ruka, Julia M. Went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at the age of 89 and reunited with her beloved husband of 60 years Alfred T. "Al". Loving mother of Thomas M. "Tom" (Pamela) Ruka and Cynthia (Harry) Vlahos. Dear grandmother of Tom (Shelly), Joe (Bethany), Jennifer, Angelo, Julia and Christina. Proud great-grandmother of Daniel, Eva and Matthew. Further survived by her sister Veronica (Bill) Spencer, other relatives and friends. Visitation at the MAX A. SASS & SONS FUNERAL HOME Sunday, January 5, 2014 from 2-6pm. Funeral Service from the funeral home on TUESDAY, JANUARY 7, 2014 8:30-9:30am, to The BASILCA OF ST. JOSAPHAT, 2333 So. 6th Street for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am. Entombment at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
