Joann Barczak

Barczak, JoAnn (nee Harwell) Found peace on July 6, 2017 at age 84. Lovingly survived by her children Dawn (Rodney) Mattrisch and Matt (Katie) Barczak. Beloved nana of Benjamin and Drake. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other family and many friends. She is preceded in death by her husband David. JoAnn retired from the Greendale School System, where she worked for many years teaching kindergarten. She touched many lives in her teaching career and had a great influence on many young children's lives. The light of JoAnn's life were her grandchildren, she was their greatest cheerleader and supporter in all their endeavors. Family and friends are welcome to gather at the funeral home on Thursday, July 13, 2017 from 3:30-6:30 PM. A celebration of her life will be celebrated with a time of sharing at 6 PM.
